  God, the Son In the book of Hebrews (one of the books in the Bible), chapter one, we can read more about God the father, and his son Jesus Christ. In the following excerpts you can see how the Father addresses his son. The Father, speaking to his son Jesus Christ, refer to him as God and give him the credit for creating the universe. When you begin to study the Bible you will find that God is one, existing in three persons. God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Sounds complicated, eh? Is Jesus God?

Who is Jesus? If you do a quick search online you will find that all the major religions view Jesus as anything from a moral man to an incarnation of God. Except for Judaism, where Jesus is thought of as a false prophet. It's interesting that people all over the world, with different religious beliefs, often have a very high regard of Jesus.   What does the Bible say about Jesus and who he was? In this short text from a confrontation between the Jewish religious leaders and Jesus, Jesus equaled himself with God, infuriating the Jews.  "Your father Abraham rejoiced at the thought of seeing my day; he saw it and was glad.” “You are not yet fifty years old,” they said to him, “and you have seen Abraham!” “Very truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, “before Abraham was born, I am! ” At this, they picked up stones to stone him, but Jesus hid himself, slipping away from the temple grounds.
